From Luz Saint Sauveur (west): 18,3 km – (height difference : 1400m) – gradient (%) : 7,6 aver. / 9,5 max.
From Sainte Marie de Campan (east): 17,4 km – (height difference : 1300m) – gradient (%) : 7,4 aver. / 10 max.

The Tourmalet pass has been crossed 47 times by the Tour de France since 1947.
